How to bid and buy
Online Auction Bidding
First log into your account. If you do not yet have an account with us registration is free and easy.
Once you are logged in, enter the auctions you would like to bid on. There are two different options for bidding on auctions which are explained below:
Bidding When you place a bid on gronlineauction.com the computer will place a bid for you AT THE NEXT INCREMENT. The computer will not immediately increase the bid amount to your maximum bid. Instead the computer will incrementally increase your bid to retain the highest bid position. Each time you are outbid by other bidders your bid will be automatically increased up to your maximum bid. To see updated price click the REFRESH BUTTON (Control + R).
Example: The auction starts at $3.00 and Bob places a proxy bid for $10.00, the system will put a bid for him at $3.00. Now if Eric places a normal bid at $8.00, Bob's bid will be automatically increased to $9.00 to retain the highest bid until the maximum amount ($10.00) is reached.
Bidding Increments There are minimum bidding increments set for auctions at various price-points, this represents the minimum amount you may place a bid for above the current highest bid.
Example 1: The auction starts at $3.00, Bob MUST place a bid for at least $4.00. Example 2: The auction starts at $3.00 and Bob places a bid for $12.50. Eric MUST place a bid for at least $14.50.
$0.01 - $10.00: $1.00 increment. $10.01 - $50.00: $2.00 increment. $50.01 - $2500.00: $5.00 increment.
After you have won the auction You will receive an e-mail indicating that you have won the auction along with the price of the auction. Your won items will also be listed in your account on our website on the "My Won Bids" page. Please check your "My Won Bids" page before picking up your items to ensure you won the item(s). In order to receive and pay for the item you have won you must come to our warehouse during regular business hours. The buyer must pick up their items won within (7) days of the end of the auction. Failure to do so results in a forfeit of the item(s) you won.
